Summary/Abstract: The report presents the individual aspects of circular economy from international companies’ and global supply chains’ perspective. The author argues the thesis that successful implementation of circular economy concept in the practice of international companies and their global supply chains is a factor for achieving high sustainable results and a source of strong long-term competitive advantage. The essence of the circular economy is examined and the possibility of implementing the concept in global supply chains is commented. Examples of best practice from the fashion industry are presented. The benefits of the circular economy for international business are summarized.
