Summary/Abstract: This article explores the integration of Romanian literature into the Russian cultural landscape over the last three decades. It traces the path from classical tradition to contemporary postmodernist texts, with particular attention paid to the figure of Mircea Cărtărescu. The collection “Why We Love Women” is analysed as a space for philosophical inquiry, where themes of corporeality and memory raise questions about moral maturity. The work also evaluates the contribution of translator A. Starostina to the perception of Romanian literature in Russia.
