Summary/Abstract: The given article dwells on the system of images in the novel "Oblomov" by Ivan Gončarov. We have compared Oblomov's image with the symbols of Russian culture and literature ("laziness", "peace"), as well as with other characters of the novel (Andrej Štolʹc, Olga Ilʺinskaja, Agafia Pšenicyna).
