Summary/Abstract: Educational curriculum has two attributes: quantity and quality. Quality represents the appropriation of the content of education that highlights the value, essentiality, depth, level, functionality, performance, validity, durability, reliability and efficiency of knowledge in the development of personality and in the formation of professionalism, in the development of the intellectual and professional capacities of the youth. Quantity refers to the appropriation of educational content that highlights the number, multitude, size and extent of information and practical skills. The characteristics of the educational curriculum are: stability, mobility, gradual expansion of educational contents, diversification and specialization.
