Summary/Abstract: The paper examines the problems of households’ access to the Internet and the frequency of its use as factors influencing the use of online channels for purchasing products. The study seeks confirmation of the direction and strength of the influence of the provision of a stable Internet service and the intensity of its use as drivers stimulating the development of e-commerce. The work uses secondary data from Eurostat with a coverage level of NUTS 2, which is the basis for conducting a correlation analysis and proving the research hypotheses about the moderate positive significance of Internet coverage and the strong positive influence of the frequency of use of the global network on ordering goods and services online. In the context of the evolution of wireless network technologies and uninterrupted consumer Internet connectivity, new horizons are revealed for retailers to improve the consumer experience and offer a high level of personalization.
