Summary/Abstract: This report is dedicated to the importance of infrastructure as a factor for improving regional development. The article argues the need for regional development of the territory and the importance of the ongoing processes and phenomena that set the opportunities for the inclusive development of the regional economy. The report focuses on mobility, the road network and the demographic structure of the population in the country. Attention is paid to transport infrastructure and regional development. In the practical part, regional convergence through new road infrastructure is considered. The relevant analyses and evaluations have been made, where the results of the study are described in the conclusion.
