Summary/Abstract: This article aims to explore the types of sociocultural information and the modes of its representation in four Bulgarian language workbooks for 6th grade, designed for the education of students abroad. Based on empirical material excerpted from the selected educational resources, the study draws conclusions regarding the predominant types of sociocultural content and the manner in which it is presented – either explicitly (descriptively) or implicitly.
