Summary/Abstract: The article examines new lexical and phraseological units included by Russian linguists in the electronic database of the Spelling (Orthographical) Dictionary of the Russian language in 2022–2025. The fading trend towards the adoption of Anglicisms-Americanisms is noted, which is associated with the tension in relations with the Anglo-American world and the growth of patriotic sentiments in Russian society. The dictionary includes Church Slavonic terms and onyms. Some of the lexical units have long existed in the Russian language, while others tend to become passive vocabulary.
