Summary/Abstract: In 1935, when the project of erecting the Maglavit monastery was started with great enthusiasm as an expression of the will of the Orthodox people to welcome the epiphanic event that occurred in the southwest of Oltenia, no one suspected that it would take almost a century to be completed, but especially, no one would have anticipated the way in which the fight, which was waged by the atheist communist regime against the “Maglavit phenomenon”, would contribute to keeping the Christian faith alive in this part of our country. In this study, we will show the efforts by which the atheist-secular system of the detractors of the theophanic phenomenon of Maglavit tried to deride it, by placing them in the mirror with the theological arguments designed to argue the authenticity of Petrache Lupu's divine vision.
