Summary/Abstract: The issue of migration as a social phenomenon is one of the most current topics, as it continues to serve as a barometer of social change within a society. Thus, the scale, intensity, new directions, and forms of migration—now an indispensable attribute of social reality—highlight the need to study the effects of migration on the development of Romanian society during the period 2007–2017, the first ten years after Romania’s accession to the European Union.
