Summary/Abstract: The paper presents a complex expertise of immovable cultural heritage with the status of national welth – the Orthodox church "St. Assumption of the Virgin" in the village of Dolen, Petrich municipality. The expert analysis of the church show signs of a unique painting style, but also the need for conservation and restoration activities. A cost approach is applied to value the proposal for specific conservation and restoration activities. The contingent valuation method was used to assess the economic, financial, and cultural value of the site. Network analysis, impact analysis, and macroenvironment analysis were performed using elements of the PESTEL method, resulting in specific guidelines for the strategic management of the church as immovable Christian cultural heritage.
