Summary/Abstract: The German education system differs in many aspects from the system in other countries, but it produces high-quality students. The education system in Germany has some specifics compared to other countries. First of all, it is not centralized. For each of the 16 federal states, their ministries are responsible. This means that subjects, curricula and qualifications are different in some of them. Also, the German education system is vertical. There are diversified school institutions according to the student's preferences, whether he is for further education or for work. The dual education system is one of the characteristics of this school system. In this paper, we will point out the most important aspects in the organization of this educational system, as well as everything that makes it successful.
