This report explores the role of the human resource management (HRM) in creating corporate sustainability in the field of commerce. It aims to identify how HR practices contribute to a sustainable organizational culture and strategic development. The study reviews theoretical frameworks and real practices in leading retail chains in Bulgaria. The sustainable HRM is a key driver of a long-term competitiveness and ethical business behavior. HR policies align with sustainability goals and strengthen employee engagement and corporate reputation.
