Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses how drones in the war in Ukraine are changing warfare and what their impact is on the information war. The deployment of unmanned aerial vehicles to strike targets in Russia helped Ukraine compensate for the lack of a sufficient number of missiles. Ukrainian naval drones enabled Kyiv to mitigate the threat posed by the Russian Black Sea Fleet. Russia has used combined attacks with rockets and drones, and also deployed kamikaze drones to strike Ukrainian targets. Videos taken by unmanned aerial systems and published by the troops and media of both Russia and Ukraine have contributed to the information war.
