Summary/Abstract: In the last decade of higher education, both in Romania and in other European countries, student mentoring has become increasingly recognized as a tool that supports their integration into the university environment, as well as one of the conditions that can contribute to their academic success. In this regard, universities have facilitated the development of programs that promote peer mentoring among students, which may be organized by student associations/representative student bodies, by certain university departments or faculty members, or even informally by the students themselves.
