Summary/Abstract: This theoretical study investigates how leadership can effectively mediate between human capabilities and technology in the digital age. Through a literature review, it identifies essential competencies for human-centric digital leadership. The findings reveal that success hinges on a paradigm shift from control-based management to empowerment, prioritizing emotional intelligence, digital empathy, and psychological safety. These competencies are shown to enhance employee engagement, reduce technostress, and build organizational resilience. The research provides a practical framework for leaders to navigate digital transformation, arguing that human-centric leadership is the crucial determinant for achieving sustainable organizational excellence and innovation.
