Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the story Der Ausflug der Toten Mädchen by Anna Seghers, focusing on real and fantastic space. The aim of this essay is to offer a new literary perspective on the narrative, in which space becomes a central element and where the fantastic serve as a tool for this analysis. This interpretation is based on the fact that the text exhibits numerous characteristics of this literary genre, including: the intrusion of the fantastic into real life, the indecisiveness of both the protagonist and the reader in the face of events, the dissolution of the boundaries of time and space, and the ambiguity of the ending.
