Summary/Abstract: This paper aims at examining the Bulgarian possessive pronouns to highlight the difficulties faced by the students from the Faculty of Russian Philology and Slavic Studies at the University of Athens. For this purpose, comparisons are made regarding the formation and use of this grammatical category in Greek, Russian and Bulgarian. A short survey was made on the subject among students, the results of which we can use to overcome the relevant difficulties.
