Summary/Abstract: This study looks at the type of sociocultural information present in 13 textbooks for Bulgarian as a second language. Based on empirical material excerpted from the textbooks, we determine the predominant type of sociocultural information included as well as how that sociocultural information is presented – either explicitly (descriptively) or implicitly.
