Summary/Abstract: The occurrence of frequent global crises and the increasing fragmentation of the global economy causes damage to the state, households and businesses, which inevitably requires recovery programs from all market players, which of course further burdens their budgets and negatively affects their financial strength. Microeconomic factual analysis of the economy of Republic of Srpska and macroeconomic analysis in Bosnia and Herzegovina point to the conclusion that in 2023, the previous negative trends of the state of financial strength and the maintenance of the level of resilience of its economy will be maintained. In order to raise the performance of the economy and increase its resilience to a higher level, decisive reforms are necessary, which have been numbed in Bosnia and Herzegovina for almost more than a decade. This resulted in long-term stagnation and in order to make up for lost time, it is necessary in the economy to make a decisive step forward into new technologies, strategies and policies 'while skipping a series of development phases that require time.
