Summary/Abstract: The report examines existing practices for induction and adaptation of newly appointed employees in the public sector. Additional focus is placed on the specifics of onboarding as a process and its use as a foundation for overall effective management of human resources in public administration. Attention is paid to the key aspects, its goals and benefits, a classification of the types of onboarding, the topics and the stages it covers. An attempt has also been made to analyze the trends and practices for measuring its effectiveness, as well as the tools for its implementation and good practices and positive influence for public sector organizations.
