Summary/Abstract: There is a lot of talk about integration, at almost every level, with almost the same passion as about the king of sports. European integration has become, like almost all our current issues, a pathetic topic: it scares us and attracts us, divides us into patriots and traitors. In fact, in Romania, people talk passionately about almost everything, from the inefficiency of a government to the thermal panels of a prime minister or even the sărmală tasted by the president of the country, who is on a visit to the country. It is understandable that a subject such as the one that concerns the destinies of millions of Romanians and not only should arouse interest. The European Union has shown itself, in turn, to be interested in a dialogue, allocating not insignificant amounts to programs designed to inform or create a dialogue between citizens and civil society, politicians, the administration and the Union.
