Summary/Abstract: The current geopolitical context, characterized by complex challenges such as rapid technological change, social polarization, and global threats, necessitates a fundamental rethinking of the role of education. The European Education Area (EEA) emerges as a strategic response to these dynamics, proposing an integrated and transformative approach. In this context, we analyze the institutional mechanisms of the EEA, its impact on social resilience, and the potential limitations and challenges. The European Education Area initiative supports EU Member States in collaborating to build more resilient and inclusive education and training systems. The European Education Area works in synergy with the European Skills Agenda and the European Research Area to enable the valorization of knowledge and its transformation into a foundation for Europe’s recovery and prosperity.
