Summary/Abstract: Regional policy is one of the most important policies of the European Communities. It started with the entry into force of the Treaty of Rome, and was fundamentally reformed in 2006. Basically it serves backward areas (regions) faster development compared to the community average fundamental by passing considerable community development sources (Structural Funds, Cohesion Fund) to these areas beside severe community law regulations.
