Summary/Abstract: The need to use an undercover officer in a criminal organization is determined by the improvement of the schemes and mechanisms for committing serious crimes, primarily of an international nature. The main components of the undercover officer's activities are described and explained – preparation, deployment, logistical support, task execution, and removal from the criminal organization. The advantages of undercover work and the main content elements of the concepts used in the specific subject matter of the presentation are outlined.
