Summary/Abstract: The importance security in all of its aspects and the role that it plays have grown like a snowball in recent years. One of the most important aspects of this process – the function of the human factor – can surely be brought to light by carefully reading and analyzing these procedures. In light of this, the paper highlights the difficulties in recognizing the importance of leadership and leadership qualities in establishing and carrying out important national security policies at all levels. The importance of contemporary leadership concepts in the security system is developed, along with some important suggestions for enhancing this procedure in the management paradigms used in the national security system.
