Summary/Abstract: The rapid flow of the latest information and the always available large number of different contents have presented the Internet as a "window to the world" for all generations, which has brought about major changes in all spheres of life. Thus, when it comes to social interactions, the number of participants has reached global proportions thanks to numerous social networks. Living and working in a world of information expansion, the Internet and social networks, despite all their advantages, are increasingly becoming a platform for digital violence. Digital violence (cyber bullying) occurs when someone uses available information and communication devices to deliberately and publicly humiliate and/or frighten the victim. Given the nature of this violence, it is clear that children are no longer protected even within the family home, which is truly worrying. In addition, the problem is that the "audience" within the social network is many times larger, so it is very unfavorable for the victim. Violence through the Internet and social networks is a problem that society faces every day, so the goal of this paper is to point out some negative indicators of this deviant phenomenon in society.
