Summary/Abstract: Contemporary challenges to national security have been of continuously increasing magnitude and diversity, which has led to the permanent redefinition of how the objectives of the national defense system have been met. It was, therefore, necessary to reconfigure the quality and quantity of the resources necessary to achieve these objectives. However, the temporal or spatial limitations specific to the management of defense resources determine a set of risks that are permanently "on the table" of decision-makers in this dynamic and versatile field, and it is necessary to pay attention accordingly.
