Summary/Abstract: One of the lines of research in the framework of the 'A edición literaria en Galicia' (1975-2000) project focuses on the analysis of the role of women in Galician publishing, an almost unexplored field until now. We know that their work was of great relevance and had a huge impact, even though their contribution remained unacknowledged due to the characteristics of the editorial industry, in which only men were visible. The aim of this paper is to present biographical overviews of different women involved in this sector, whom we could interview and who are still awaiting recognition. In this way, we will show the diverse functions they performed in Galician publishing during this period, as well as the collections and publications in which they played a fundamental role, thus facilitating the development of a more inclusive literary system.
