Summary/Abstract: In the modern dynamic environment and the accelerated introduction of flexible management models (including Agile management), the formulation of reasoned solutions to problems is associated with a growing interest in „Design Thinking“ – a structured process (encompassing the relevant stages/phases) for developing innovative solutions to problems/challenges centered on needs/expectations of relevant target. This research presents the essential characteristics of the „Design Thinking“ approach with an emphasis on a practical approach for improving the management of human resources.
