Summary/Abstract: The article has a basic purpose to present the main ways to express satisfaction and frustration, approval and criticism in the speech of contemporary Bulgarian youth. The study is based on 65 recordings, made by 17 students. The recordings include dialogues of young people (between 16 and 26 years). The analysis of the colloquial speech is made on the different levels: morphological, syntactic and lexical.
