Summary/Abstract: The 21st century considers therapy or treatment to be a necessary and promising part of everyone healing. The aim of therapeutic and expressive concepts used in early care is to understand and help a child with risk development as well as child´s family (assistance is provided to the family as a system) in identifying and subsequent dealing with specific differentiae during the period from birth to entering primary school. The paper presents the theoretical basis for the use of therapeutic concepts of early care assistance. It distinguishes therapeutic concepts of aid into two groups, while the first group represents expressive therapies and uses artistic means as part of treatment, and the second group represents the therapeutic concepts that are primarily perceived as support through training. It also includes partial results of a research probe conducted with experts who are the real providers of early care.
