Summary/Abstract: Unique and unifying, freedom of personal conscience is what ensures our communion with God—the Holy Trinity—here and now, and especially in eternity. Freedom of religion protects human freedoms—from socio- economic to political freedoms, from freedom of expression to freedom of conscience. Freedom of conscience is authentic only when it is naturally linked to the Revealed and Incarnate Truth, to our Saviour Jesus Christ. In the light of the divine truth we also become “Ebed Yahweh”, that is, slaves of the Lord, enjoying the complete freedom conferred by the Incarnate Logos of our salvation.
