Summary/Abstract: This article presents a part of the research undertaken by the author so far, in the Voice and Speech field and is a technical paper about vocal freedom as a necessity for the organic embodiment of the character. The need for vocal training is imperative so that the vocal performance can manifest. The voice is shaped authentically by thoughts and feelings, but for this to be possible it is necessary to prepare the voice, to train it so that it can be properly involved in the manifestation process. Starting from the idea that the actor is a “balanced quartet” that communicates the inner universe by properly using the means of expression, the article concludes that voice and speech are two important components that need careful training in order to be freed from useless tensions.
