Expectations of the Spouses Towards Pastoral Accompaniment in the Parish

Summary/Abstract: Pastoral accompaniment in the parish is one of the essential forms of pastoral service. The spouses expect various forms of help relating to their religious as well as family life. The aim of this article is showing what pastoral accompaniment is, presentation of the results of research on spouses and indication of important pastoral conclusions. The conducted analyses showed that the majority of spouses expect various forms of pastoral accompaniment to a large extent. However, there are areas of religious and conjugal life that set the direction of ministry in parishes. The spouses’ attitude to faith and belonging to groups and associations have a significant influence on the level of expectations of the spouses.
