Employment forms in the European Union – current trends

Summary/Abstract: This article presents current changes in employment forms and evaluates their impact from the point of view of the labour market. Its introductory part is a description of e changes taking place in employment. Then the article provides the background of data related to the popularity of various employment forms within the EU. Part 3 is an empirical analysis of the transformations affecting the terms of employment offered – part-time jobs, temporary jobs and self-employed collaborators – followed by an evaluation of the significance of non-standard terms of employment for the overall labour market situation.
