Linguistic ambiguities of contemporary economics

Summary/Abstract: The issue of ambiguity in the language of economics is the major obstacle to science development, both theoretically and empirically. The multitude of economic terms brings chaos to analyses, research and assessments of economic phenomena, and to the science of economics itself. The objective of the article is to provide the analysis of the problem of ambiguity of the language of economics. Hence, the elaboration shows key features and main types of linguistic ambiguity. The subject matter was presented on the basis of the following issues: unemployment, poverty, and social exclusion.
