Summary/Abstract: The present study deals with the way in which Romania handles the issues of the Romanian diaspora. The study relies on the present legislation, starting from internal provisions, but correlating them to the European ones.The study also offers a comparison between the Romanian and Italian provision on this matter, as well as a detailed presentation of the Romanian laws and institutions dealing with this aspect.
