Summary/Abstract: Social history has recently developed a special concern for the research of calamities and other menaces to the life of human beings.This paper includes an old and forgotten poetical work written by the Romanian writer, Ioan Barac. This poem is rather a lamentation about the moral diseases that affect the social body and also an impulse to moral purification.
