Regions’ competitiveness in the light of Polish regional policy principles

Summary/Abstract: The improvement of the competitiveness is one of the most important aims of the contemporary economy. However, the divergence between theory and practice may occur. In the article some key documents are presented at the national level as well as the results of the synthesis of priorities and aims (connected with the improvement of the competitiveness) established at the regional level by voivodeships in Poland.
