Summary/Abstract: During the II. Meşrutiyet Period, the Ottoman Empire started to follow Europe in many areas, and the magazines for women, which became widespread with the developing thought movements and press activities, supported the development of women in every aspect. One of the women's magazines published during the II. Meşrutiyet Period, the magazine Kadınlık especially with its fashion-oriented pages, was effective in the adoption of the Western style of clothing and the spread of fashion. In this study, which aims to determine the qualitative (design) features of the visuals on the pages of women's fashion in the magazine Kadınlık (Women's Fashion) with the method of content analysis, comments were also made on the effects of the magazine on the change in Turkish women's dressing culture. The fashion visuals in the issues of the magazine published in 1912 were presented in thematic coding tables, formal drawings of the clothing visuals were made according to the codes and themes were created. In the themes that emerged as a result of the research, it was seen that the magazine mostly included information and visuals on European women and European fashion, and also covered the issue of molding and sewing by encouraging women to sew their clothes. It is thought that this study will constitute a source for the history of Turkish clothing and contribute to the researches in this field.
