Summary/Abstract: This article analyses the role of the organisation of Croatian passenger shipping, as well as its human resources and capacity. Special emphasis is laid on the position, role and significance of Jadrolinija, as the biggest passenger shipping company in Croatia. Furthermore, the article considers the possible involvement of the Croatian shipping industry in the domestic shipbuilding industry.
