Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study was to investigate the attitudes of the mothers of children aged 9-12 years diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and normal development (ND). The study group consisted of 160 mothers who have children with normal development (n=90) and autism spectrum disorder (n=70). In order to collect the data, the Parental Attitude Scale (PAS)-C Form was used. Mann Whitney-U test and Kruskal Wallis-H test were used for the analysis of the data. As a result of the study; It found that mothers with ND children were more oppressive / authoritarian than mothers with ASD children. University graduate, mothers with children diagnosed with ASD and middle incomes were more oppressive / authoritarian. It found that mothers with ASD diagnosed and single child were more tolerant and oppressive / authoritarian attitude towards children.
