Summary/Abstract: In this article author considers the trinitarian doctrine of St. Gregory the Theologian, one of the greatest theologians of the Byzantine tradition, who lived in the 4th century. In the first part, he discusses Gregory’s doctrine of the Trinitarian dogma of disclosure in the course of history. Then he considers Trinitarian terminology used in a polemic against Arianism. And finally, Gregory’s teachings on the Holy Spirit and his vision of the unity of the Holy Trinity in the dogmatic and moral perspective are being presented.
