Summary/Abstract: This study analyzes foreign words in the corpus of spoken Spanish of Granada (PRESEEA Granada). This corpus is based on the interviews conducted between the years 2004- 2009. A quantitative and qualitative analysis of occurrence of foreign words in spontaneous conversation is established according to age, sex and educational level. The analysis shows the frequent employment of anglicisms among speakers as a result of the cultural influence of English language.
