Summary/Abstract: The above elaboration aimed at highlighting the individual style and stylistic competence of one of the most prominent writers of Albanian literature today, Rexhep Qosja, by addressing the emotional speech in the novel "The night is our day". The study found some: conclusions. The novel "Night is our day" actualizes innovations and various disintegrating strategies of the postmodernist tendency at the level of sounds, words, phrases, phraseologies, syntactic constructions up to the level of larger textual units in function of emotional speech. The writer has developed such narrative structures that reveal appropriate speech strategies that make not only the novel multi-meaningful and multifaceted, but also its communication with the reader. In these narrative strategies, emotional speech occupies an important place. The study of emotional discourse in this novel proves that the Albanian language is very rich in linguistic units: words, phrases, phraseology and syntactic constructions, which express different emotional states with their many variations and colors, as emotions related to sensory stimuli, aesthetic emotions, moral sensibilities, emotions related to other people or self esteem; it also affirms the richness and diversity of human emotions, without which the world and human language would not be as rich and diverse as they are. The place and role of the novel "Night is our day" and other novels of Rexhep Qosja in Albanian literature, disintegartes traditional romantic and realistic literary codes is exemplary with the place and role of Marcel Proust's novels in French literature, of James Joyce in English literature, of William Faulkner in American literature, and of Ernesto Sabato in Latin American literature.
