Summary/Abstract: The work of Ibnu l-|awzi under the above title represents a special turning point in writing about wu\u h and naz a' ir of Qur'an, althought it keeps that classical tradition of writing the works in this genre, i.e. in the terms of linguistic meaning of the word and the science of tafsir. Because of the fact that Ibnu l-|awzi introduces significant novelties in methodology of writing of the works in this genre, the author of this paper deals, in detail, with that methodology, lexical scope and sources of the abovementioned work.
