Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes corporeality in the context of the assumptions of Michel Foucault’s discourse theory and with the use of discourse research methods taken from the concepts of Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe. Therefore, it is assumed that discourse is understood as conditions of meaningful articulation, semantic structuring, and interpretation of the social world. The specificity of the corporeality discourse is interpreted in relation to the category of nodal points. The discourse of corporeality is based on semantics, which are the nodal points of many constitutive discourses for modernism. Thus, the discourse of corporeality stabilizes the hegemonic discourse of modernism. In the context of the above assumptions, the subject of the analysis is the text published on the Gazeta.pl portal as well as internet users’ comments below it.
