Summary/Abstract: The considerations presented in this text are an attempt at an application of a theory developed within one specific concept of power for an analysis of selected trends in the development of today’s advanced technologies and the so called new media. The authors intend to investigate specific technologies of control and self controlling the context of theoretical assumptions by Michel Foucault.
