Summary/Abstract: Introduction: Terminal (end stage) kidney disease is a chronic disease that causes high levels of disability, requires long-term dialysis treatment and thus significantly affects quality of life. Objective: Evaluate the quality of life in dialysis patients. Set and methods: A quantitative method was used for the purpose of research, using the standardized WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire. The research sample consisted of 102 respondents from dialysis centers. Results: Based on statistical processing it can be concluded that the quality of life of the dialysis patients is reduced in the physical domain, domain of experiencing and domain of social relations. A signifificant reduction in Q2 assessment is satisfaction with health, average 2.79. Domain dependencies, Q1 and Q2 questions on socio-demographic data (gender, age, education, marital status, social status) were monitored. Conclusion: The achieved results confirm the decreased quality of life of patients at the lower limit of the population standard, but the results are not significantly low. The results are statistically significant depending on domains, separate Q1 and Q2 questions on socio-demographic data.
